How It Starts
Tyrocks Project – From Studio to Stage
Tyrocks Project was born in spring 2020 as a studio project by Berlin-based producer, guitarist, and sound engineer Mickie F. Gee. Inspired by the vision of producing genre-spanning, modern metal with an international flair, Mickie collaborated with musicians from the US, Canada, the UK, Australia, Japan, and Germany. The result of this creative collaboration: nine powerful songs that were released on all major streaming platforms – and received an impressive response.
What began as a studio experiment quickly evolved. The positive response from the metal community motivated Mickie to bring Tyrocks to the stage.
In Black Cat (vocals), Joost Roset (bass), and Volker Schultz (ex-Mind Odyssey, drums), he found the ideal collaborators to realize his vision live.
The band combines a hard, modern metal sound with atmospheric arrangements and energetic songwriting—uncompromising, international, and with a clear signature. With their first gigs planned for fall 2025, Tyrocks Project are ready to take the stage.
